Reset Modernity! workshop on cinema led by Jean-Michel Frodon (Renowned Film critic and Cahiers du cinémas former editor) and Martin Guinard-Terrin (Curator) and moderated by Reza Haeri (Filmmaker and Curator) was set up at Pejman Foundation: Kandovan.
A four-day screening of films focused on Environment and chosen by Frodon was set up at Kandovan and after the four-day screening, the two-day workshop took place on 20th and 21st of April and was attended by thinkers from different fields, University professors, artists, and filmmakers.
Reset Modernity! the exhibition is a project formed by French philosopher Bruno Latour and was initially set up at ZKM in Karlsruhe.
ABOUT JEAN-MICHEL FRODON
Jean-Michel Frodon (born 20 September 1953 in Paris) is a journalist, critic, and historian of cinema. In 1983, he became a journalist and film critic for the weekly periodical Le Point. He took over the same functions at the daily newspaper Le Monde in 1990 and in 1995, he became responsible for the daily film column. In 2003 he became head editor of Cahiers du cinémas four years after its purchase by Le Monde. Has been teaching at Pantheon-Sorbonne University and École Normale Supérieure, currently teaches at Sciences Po Paris.
