Zahra Jahanbakhsh of Tehran Auction, William Lawrie of Lawrie Shabibi, Roxane Zand from Sotheby’s and Dina Nasser-Khadivi from Christie’s, all with different backgrounds in the Art Market, sit to discuss the internationalization of the Iranian art market its context and their outlook.

In this talk basic concepts of art market are explained such as the difference between primary and secondary market, representation of art in and outside of Iran, how auctions work and artworks are selected, the role of foundations, museums and associations in creating an art scene and giving credit to it, the history of the presence of Iranian contemporary artists in a global scene, etc.
