Claire Davis, one of Metropolitan’s curators, is one of the most influential people in representing Middle Eastern Art in America. Venetia Porter is the curator of Islamic and Middle Eastern art in the British Museum, She is also active in producing knowledge and has published books in this field. Louisa Macmillan is an independent curator who also used to work with the British Museum, she has designed a committee in this museum for collecting middle eastern art. She now works on the other side of this relation as a patreon herself. These guests talk about the role of institutions and art fairs in collecting art.
