The Il Cinema Ritrovato Festival, one of the most important festivals for the greatest classic works in the history of cinema, each year, in collaboration with Cineteca Bologna and the Film Restoration Laboratory of Bologna, restores and displays old films in high quality. The 36th season of this festival started on June 25 and will continue until July 3, 2022.

This year in the festival's documents and documentaries section, "See You Friday, Robinson!" by Mitra Farahani, will be shown on June 28 and July 1, 2022. Pejman Foundation, directed by Hamidreza Pejman, is the Iranian co-producer of this film, alongside Écran Noir Productions, Casa Azul Films and Shortcut Films.

In Il Cinema Ritrovato 2022, some important restored works of Iranian cinema will be screened for the first time, including "A Fire" by Ebrahim Golestan, "Far From Home" by Sohrab Shahid-Saless, "The Spring" by Arbi Hovhannisyan and "The Carriage Driver" by Nosrat Karimi.
